How to make: Created through mixing the substances of rotten food and sapphire dust (and perhaps an herb of some sort?) Rotten food can be food touched by a ghast itself, a rotten tomato sold by peasants near cages, or even a rotten apple found in West Ardounge. As long as it’s rotten, it will work. Sapphire dust is obtained by crushing a sapphire gem with a pestle and mortar. Mix the ingredients in water and you will have the Ghastly Touch.

These Ogres are also very resistant to normal weapons, which will have a much lower maximum hit and reduced accuracy, but Brutal arrows and the Magic spell Crumble Undead are very effective.

There are many Ogre coffins scattered about Jiggig. They can be opened either with an Ogre coffin key, which is a drop from Zogres and Skogres, or by picking the locks with thieving. The entrance to Jiggig is guarded by several Ogres. Uglug Nar is a shaman who will sell the player supplies useful for fighting in Jiggig, such as Relicym’s balm.

Grish is another shaman who starts the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest. Pilg and Grug are wounded ogres who have been injured while fending off the Undead Ogres. There are also two uninjured Ogre guards. The first guards the barricade which blocks the way into Jiggig itself, and will let the player in during the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest. The second guards the only three Ogre coffins that are outside the barricade, and will throw the player into Jiggig if they fail to steal from the coffins.

After climbing over the barricade, players will see the reason that Jiggig has its name. There are Zogres and Skogres playing drums and dancing. Past this area is a cave that contains stairs down to the main part of Jiggig. Once players have passed the barricade, burying any Zogre bones may cause a Skogre to appear and attack, even if the player has a high enough combat level that the others are no longer aggressive.

The Jiggig caves are a large area swarming with Zogres and Skogres. The area is much easier to navigate if a player’s combat level is high enough that they are no longer aggressive (level 89 or higher). The main points of interest during the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest are the broken lectern and skeleton in the north-west corner, and the entrance to the level below to the west.

The locked doors can only be opened during the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest, using the ‘ogre gate key’ given to the player by Grish.This area is only accessible during the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest and it is here that the player will find Slash Bash.Raurg, Fayrg and Ourg bones may all be found in the zogre coffins, indicating that those creatures may have been the ancestors of modern-day Ogres in some way.

Players sometimes visit Port Khazard to pick up these planks.

There are two houses that have a range for cooking food.There are three anvils in eastern Port Khazard.There are two small mines in the town. One is located in the northern part of the village, behind house with anvils in it, and has one mithril and two tin rocks. Another is located just south of the village, and has one mithril and two copper rock. The Yanille mine is near the port and has clay, tin, copper, iron, coal, and mithril rocks.

The closest bank to Port Khazard is the Yanille bank. However, there is a Bank Deposit Box near the dock, where items can be deposited. Players using the mines in and near Port Khazard often use this box, as do players collecting the planks that spawn at the port.

This would be achieved by having 78 Runecrafting, giving a 4x bonus, and carrying 253 essence to craft (23 in the normal inventory along with 48 in the 5 sizes of Runecrafting pouches, along with 175 claimed from the wicked hood, whilst wearing an explorer’s ring. The maximum possible experience is 3,289 obtained doing the above while wearing Earth runecrafting gloves.

It is possible to make Mud runes, Dust runes, and Lava runes while at this altar, but at a lower success rate. This will result in less runes than normal being made. To make a combination rune, the player needs one set of elemental runes, a stack of pure essence, and 2 talismans.If the player equips a Binding necklace, the success rate will increase to 100%. It has a total of 15 uses before breaking.

A charge is used each time a combination rune is used, instead of each time the altar is entered.An earth tiara may be created at this altar by having an earth talisman and a normal tiara in your inventory. The player must use the tiara on the altar. Doing so will earn 32.5 Runecrafting experience.At the western-most point, players can see parts of the fire altar.

Using the orb of occulus, to the south one can see an infinite grass plain, to the southeast, one can see the air altar, and to the east, one can see the Fire altar.Making an earth tiara in the earth altar is a medium task in the Varrock Tasks and entering the altar is an easy task.Using earth runecrafting gloves from Fist of Guthix and crafting earth runes here is sometimes considered the best method for training Runecrafting in F2P.

Even bringing just a bowl one could make stew until the cows respawn.The mansion also has one willow tree and a very large number of maple trees just to the west of the mansion for Woodcutting and Firemaking.As Sinclair Mansion is situated just south of Fremennik the weather in winter is cold, and some bitterly cold winds sometimes hit the mansion.

The cold wind from the north outweighs the warmer winds from the south- so even though Seers’ Village is very close, the differences in climate become apparent during winter. During Summer warm winds from Catherby gently whisper and nurture the plants, and even though Sinclair Mansion is situated so close to Fremennik Province, again the climate there is much harsher than here.

The Sinclair Mansion range and the range inside Al Kharid’s Kebab Shop (and several other buildings in Al Kharid) are the only bronze ranges in RuneScape, although Al Kharid’s Kebab Shop is accessible in F2P.’Sinclair Mansion” may be a reference to the mansion of Augusteen St. Clair from Uncle Tom’s Cabin.

Using the orb of oculus, you can see the body altar to the west, the air altar to the south, and a small part of the earth altar. In addition, a small, unidentified patch of sand and water can be seen. However, there is a Teleportation obelisk in the area, which makes for a fast transport to the castle area, or a quick escape for players being hunted by the Elemental. The Elemental does not enter the actual “courtyard” of the castle; but even while inside the castle gate on the south side of the castle the elemental can attack you. Prior to the Elemental’s release the castle was actually one of the safest areas in the Wilderness.

Players come here mainly to kill the Chaos elemental. Some players come here to pickpocket rogues for the Thieving xp (although the risk of death being high makes players being sighted rare). Players also come here to rescue the Rogue (Varrock) from the castle. The castle is used as part of the Ghostly Robes and Buyers and Cellars/Lost Her Marbles miniquests. Furthermore, it is the location of a Treasure Trail Coordinates clue. Other than that, it has no quest purposes.

Just north of the Rogues’ Castle, there exists a large set of hexagonal blocks of different heights. These are along the shore and are only found in two locations in the game, the other being near the Lighthouse. The meaning of these blocks is unknown. (Most likely they are purely aesthetic and are there to add to the atmosphere as they closely resemble the basalt formations of the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland which were formed through volcanic activity around 40 million years ago).

When the Wilderness was updated, people were getting stuck in the jail, so a portal was placed to allow them to get out.When the wilderness got updated, the Spirit Realm version of the castle became extremely glitched. When you enter you get a white screen, you won’t be able to use the ring to get out, as it will just teleport you back to the spirit realm, and if you try to go upstairs, you will notice that the entire first floor is missing, and there is no way to escape other than teleporting or logging out.

Once known as Carrallangar, the Graveyard of Shadows is located in the Wilderness; levels 19 to 23. Not to be confused with the Forgotten Cemetery, the graveyard is home to a large collection of dead trees. The monsters that inhabit the area are level 18 and level 24 zombies.

The Graveyard of Shadows also contains several item respawn points. There are 5 plank and 4 tile respawns within the graveyard, as well as a crossbow, a steel dagger, iron dagger and an Iron helm spawn point. This graveyard is one of only three plank spawn points within the free-to-play world, and, therefore, can play an important role in the Dragon Slayer quest. It is also one of only two known spawn point of tiles, which currently have no in-game use.

As mentioned above, the Graveyard of Shadows contains numerous zombies. As such, it is possible for players to train their magic skill through the use of the Crumble Undead spell. This method is not recommended, however, due to the danger posed by wandering Pkers and other monsters. It is also possible to train melee. High levelled players can virtually stand still and have zombies attack and get continuous experience from them since they are aggressive—until the zombies become tolerant. It is possible to have four zombies attacking. This is also a good place to obtain planks to train Construction.

To the north of the Graveyard of Shadows lie the ruins of one of the last remaining cities within the wilderness. Players should be wary, however, as they are overrun with Deadly Red Spiders. The Wilderness Volcano lies to the west of the graveyard.A mini Zaros symbol can be found somewhere on the ground.The song in this location “Dead Can Dance” could be a reference to the former Australian band “Dead Can Dance”.

A Grim Reaper statue appeared at the south-western end of the graveyard approximately a month before the 2008 Hallowe’en event was released.A second Grim Reaper statue appeared at the eastern end of the graveyard in 2009. Neither statue can be examined.Before, the Graveyard used to be near where Clan Wars was until the addition of Bounty Hunter and Clan Wars, it was pushed west of the little slime lake and a bit more east for room for the volcano.

When the Construction skill came out, this place became very crowded and a hotspot for PKers, due to the plank spawns.It is unknown, but possible that the zombies could well be all that remains of the Zarosian soldiers that inhabited Carrallangar. This could explain why the graveyard is there, as the soldiers could have been buried after the fortress was destroyed.It is possible to hear different sounds at the graveyard. One of the sounds is similar to Sauron’s “I see you”.

Farli may not be the Drunken Dwarf, but he’s a contender for the crown, so hasn’t yet made much of his discovery, leaving the way open for intrepid explorers.

There are entrances to the Dwarven Mine at the foot of Ice Mountain and in north-east Falador. Alternatively in Falador, you can use the Mining Guild entrance, or teleport to the guild with a necklace of skills. The mine cart system also provides a convenient transport link to and from Keldagrim, if you wanted to take your newly mined ores to the Blast Furnace.

The Living Rock caverns are filled with living rocks. Over the centuries, trapped in their own little ecosystem, the rocks themselves have somehow developed sentience and even a rudimentary tribal society. They may not be particularly evolved as a species, but don’t mistake that for a lack of intelligence.
